Bethel Cemetery

Located near Sharpsburg in Buckhart Township of Christian County, Illinois. This cemetery is on a hill overlooking the Bethel Baptist Church,  and is still active.

Blueville Cemetery (aka Halford Cemetery)

Located in Buckhart Township of Christian County in Illinois, this cemetery dates back to pre-1900. It was restored in 1995 by members of the community.

Buckhart (Dutch Reform) Cemetery

Located in Buckhart Township of  Christian County in Illinois, this cemetery is fenced and the grounds well tended. Burials date from the late 1800's to as recently as 1986.

Edinburg Cemetery

Located in Buckhart Township of  Christian County in Illinois, this cemetery is fenced, well tended and currently used.

New Walnut Hill Cemetery (aka Universalist Cemetery)

Located near Sharpsburg in Buckhart Township of  Christian County in Illinois. The Universalist Church once stood at the front of this burial ground. This pioneer cemetery is well kept and still in use.

Stokes Cemetery

Located in Buckhart Township of  Christian County in Illinois. David Stokes came to this area from Todd County, Kentucky in 1829. This abandoned pioneer cemetery is on private property that was once his and not been used since the late 1800's. Very few stones are still visible among the tall grass and briars.
