Stokes Cemetery
Located in Buckhart Township of Christian County in Illinois. David Stokes came to this area from Todd County, Kentucky in 1829. This abandoned pioneer cemetery is on private property that was once his and not been used since the late 1800's. Very few stones are still visible among the tall grass and briars.
